Kallie's Baptism Day

I really can't believe my girl is old enough to get baptized! The level of excitement and anticipation for this day has been huge.  Kallie has counted down the days and planned out the whole thing herself.  The perfect dress was picked out months ago and pictures were scheduled six months in advance.  (We will insert now that due to some awesomely bad weather, those pictures still haven't been taken!) This little problem put a bit of a damper in Kallie's plan as she wanted to print out a few invites for close family members.

The day couldn't have been more perfect including the weather.  Kallie was beyond beautiful and her preisthood holder was dashing himself.  I was pretty proud to call these two mine that day!

We had a luncheon planned after the baptism, and it just happened to be a really busy day for everyone else so our numbers were few for lunch.  Kallie wanted pictures with some of her cousins that would be leaving.  Bailee and Kallie have been pals from day one, and Bailee although only two years older but two feet taller takes mighty good care of my girl!

These three goofballs would hardly let me get a picture of them, they are always being so dang silly! Haylie, the blonde one, comes from two short parents but apparently stole all the heighth in the family! Wowzers!

The three "big" girls are Kallie's idols! They had better always be good examples or they will have to answer to me! Kallie thinks they walk on water and adores all three of them!

A sad attmept at capturing a little family snapshot! Cole refuses to do up his top button, and Hagen has some sort of nose issue going on, he wouldn't put his hands down. This was the best out of about twelve shots!

Kallie was also disappointed that Libbie couldn't come to lunch, but she was more jealous that Libbie was going to a Taylor Swift concert without her.  Libbie only rubbed it in a little;)

I definately feel pretty lucky to have this girl for my own.  She is smart and witty, helpful beyond description and has a soft heart and sweet spirit.

Lunch turned out great, it was a simple meal and we relaxed in the sunshine enjoying the faces of a bunch of cute babies! This much anticipated day was no disappointment that is for sure!
